Tilly is back. Thank you to our associates for keeping her safe over the weekend. She was stored next to a Porsche and Lambo and might be even faster this year. Everything works and she started right up, she seems ready for another great year. Of course, Covid on the downturn really helps and she is really eager to go to all parties large and small. Heightscream had a great time hosting an event at Lewis and Clark College. We served over 600 students with an assortment of frozen goodies. It was a perfect evening and we brought out the LED’s and Strobe lights. Bomb pops were definitely a hit and looked like we could serve about 500 per hour or 1500 in 3 hours. Happy to help out with large events or even the small birthday which was great fun. Summer continues and we are able to continue to book events. We are immunized and wear masks.
Stay safe out there. Temp over 100 and well over 100 in the ice cream truck. The ice cream is solidly cold and we are available for your event. Harper is our manager of daily operations and seems to melt above 100. Our CEO goes strong over 110.
At Heightscream, we were a little concerned about the temperature. There seemed to be many shut downs with the temp above 110. Well when it is 115 and we got the call, Tilly made it to Amazon and provided treats to all those out in the heat. Tilly made it, core temp never above 220 and seemed to be somewhat happy. Now inside the truck with the freezers churning it was a bit above 115 which is really hot. It was a great day and a really plug for the USPS vehicles which are tough as nails. If you need us, we will be there for up to 1000 people or so.
100+ degrees today, tomorrow to 115. Tilly did well and was 117 in the truck. Our CEO didn’t miss a beat and was present throughout Portland. It was really, really hot but the ice cream was cold. It was great to help out and bring a smile on such a hot day. Please be safe out there, drink lots of fluids, wear life jackets and have ice cream. Please note Bolt the dog was out in the morning at 75 degrees otherwise he was about 3 feet from a window a/c unit.
Heightscream had a great at the Jesuit High School Prom. Kudos to the staff at Jesuit for scheduling an outdoor prom for the juniors and seniors. The weather was great, we supplied the ice cream and treats and the students looked amazing. Everyone was so very happy to have this one tradition in the midst of COVID. Thank you staff for making this happen and thank you students for vaccinating.
